Beautiful song, really. I think the meaning to this song is pretty straight forward. This guy is desperately in love with this girl who he doesn't think is content with him. He's amorous for her, though, and he's worried that the feelings aren't mutual. He's desperately needy for her love, though, and the fact that she doesn't seem happy concerns him. He's seeing uncertainty or discontentment in her eyes, and that alone is killing him(emotionally). He's so certain, yet she's so distant. She's the only thing he's certain about, though. It's taking a toll on his emotions. Ah, I love this song.
