This song is pretty selfish explanatory - it's a guy sticking up for his friend when she's stuck in an abusive relationship cos she loves her b/f. And yet, it just makes me smile because this guy knows how to rubbish such claims:

yea... its about a girl with an abusive boyfriend. he's stickign up for her along with his/her other friends. the bf went way to far adn now they are going to beat the shit out of that waste of air.

i agree, it has a lot of similarities to "face down" but this is done differently. "Face down" is about the guy is going to get it when the world ends, this one is telling him that he's going to get it now. this is a great song tho

This is one of my favorate songs from Bowling for Soup. Its a hppy tuen, but has a sense of justice to it. I love the parts refering to the Boyfriend's... Uh... Complexes XD Makes me laugh every time.
