I heard this song for the first time yesterday, its really beautiful.
DR encompasses the entire fucking spectrum of emotions, and does so openly (as compared to the stereotypical male...) Here we see depth of love and affection.

this song means everything to me. i think it really touches whom ever listens to it. it's very beautiful. it's about a relationship having ended and one half being too proud and scared to admit they miss the other. having loved someone so strongly and then to lose them, feels like the saddest thing in the world. and what better way to depict that than just to say it straight out? both halves realised they missed each other, still loved one another and once they reunite, nothing can make them lose each other again. because each has realised how sad it can be. i love it.

I wonder what will happen to Mr Rice if he meets the love of his life and they live happily ever after. It will be a disaster for all the us (!), we won't have on what to lean on.
