Last night I slipped through time to a parallel dimension
You were alive and happy
Our children played in trees
Were strong and wise
And knew no fear
We watched them play together
Somewhere everyone is happy
Somewhere fish do not have bones
Somewhere gravity cannot reach us any more
Somewhere you are not alone
This morning, when I awoke
God was dead but I lived on
I cannot move
But I am free
I found the source of gravity
Somewhere everyone is happy
Somewhere fish do not have bones
Somewhere gravity cannot reach us any more
Somewhere you are not alone
Somewhere in a parallel dimension
Happening now but not within your sight
The force that binds the universe together
Everything is gonna be alright
[Repeat: x7]
Everything is gonna be alright
You were alive and happy
Our children played in trees
Were strong and wise
And knew no fear
We watched them play together
Somewhere everyone is happy
Somewhere fish do not have bones
Somewhere gravity cannot reach us any more
Somewhere you are not alone
This morning, when I awoke
God was dead but I lived on
I cannot move
But I am free
I found the source of gravity
Somewhere everyone is happy
Somewhere fish do not have bones
Somewhere gravity cannot reach us any more
Somewhere you are not alone
Somewhere in a parallel dimension
Happening now but not within your sight
The force that binds the universe together
Everything is gonna be alright
[Repeat: x7]
Everything is gonna be alright

this song is so beautiful. the repetition of 'everything is gonna be alright' has always made me think 'who is he trying to convince?'. he doesn't believe it, does he? i love this song so much. ♥
Well, the song actually refers to a "parallel dimension"... so he doesn't have to actually believe that everything's going to be alright strictly but in that world he felt like that.

Actually, one of the things that I love the most about Jarvis album is how at first I felt that the album ended up leading you to that world full of happiness and calm... but after that, when I think that was all... Jarvis manages to bring you back to reality with the hidden track "Running the world", and this is how the things really are, the world is full of c*nts and even though some people all the time tells you that the good always win and stuff that is not realistic... but somehow the chorus of that hidden song sounds like a celebration... I really felt that jarvis was bringing you back to reality and telling you how crappy the world can be but he also leads you to accept this or "if you don't like it, then leave" to quote some line.

I really like his album.. maybe musically I like better Pulp work, but this album is also great for another reasons.. it feels very mature, in both the music and the lyrics(not that the lyrics in Pulp are bad, love 'em too)

Well, sorry for my english if I made some mistakes, I'm still learning
