I couldn't figure out parts of the songs as you guys can see, and in the CD booklet Jeremy didn't put the lyrics! So let's try the best we can... If you have any corrections, comment and I'll check back and edit.

Jeremy Enigk has a solo album? Is this it? I didn't know that. But he was amazing in Sunny Day Real Estate.

I just saw him a few nights ago. Seriousily one of the best shows I've ever been to. He was playing alone (wanted to do something different on this tour), which I thought I wouldn't dig - but man did that prove me wrong - it was a lot better. I mean it's just him and he switches from playing songs on piano to playing songs on guitar - and his voice just shines. what does this song mean? Im dying to know. I tend to gravitate toward songs that take meaning in my life...

I hate how I could have seen this guy play twice within the space of 6 months but he didn't turn up both times.

I love this song, possibly the best off World Waits. It kind of makes me think that he's searching for a.. purpose? And that possibly the next day he could find it so for now he can rest easy. Inevitably, each day could be life changing or inspiring.

Seems to be about somebody who is rushing through life, day by day. And is unable to take the time to enjoy it.

From what i've read the song is about Jeremy's habit of being a 'nocturnal creature.' i guess he stays up most of the night hanging out or working and then sleeps much of the day. Not as deep as i would have thought from the song's text, but you have to give the guy props for being able to write beautiful songs about the 'mundane' too.

I can see that this hasn't been updated in a while but I think some of the lyrics are wrong. I saw him a couple of days ago and actually figured out some of the lyrics I couldn't really understand. The only thing I see wrong is the he says place your own heart on the goal at the end of the verses not lace your heart on the door.
