I know this has no lyrics, but I think this is an absolutely beautiful song. It reminds me of driving home late on a summer night, around 2 in the morning, when all the streetlights are green and you can hear the crickets chirping and the wind rushing outside.
i think the true sense of this song only comes out when you listen to it late at night
agreed, there is something really wonderful about this one
a very late and lonely song, always there on cue.
Yeah, definitley a song to be played on summer nights...or just in summer in general.
I hate to say this, but I must add that (thankfully this song came first) they use a tune a lot like this in the show True Blood for a couple of characters who get high together all the time and spend time being one with nature. This is obviously way better, but perhaps whoever thought of the theme was influenced by this song!
Do they really use this song on the show? I might consider watching it if they do! This song makes me picture myself sitting outside a house drinking a glass of whiskey and watching the sunset.
This is a really epic song and I found this good review here : <a href="http://www.thedailycontributor.com/yo-la-tengo-green-arrow">Yo La Tengo Green Arrow</a>
