I think some of the above lyrics are wrong... This is what I hear:

 Reminds me of coming out of a haze... alcoholic haze, drug induced haze, broken hearted haze  (in this case broken heart) and things are finally looking up after being down for so long.

This is the type of song whose lyrics really don't matter. The harmonies, beat, vocals, drums, and just the general feel of the song are enough.
