Too bad whoever typed this song out doesn't know how to spell "lose"

Tom is trying to chat up a girl, and Danny is paying the price. That’s what the song makes me think. The way Danny sings the lose it part just makes me think dirty things and puts a smile on my face actually ….

so this song is the theme song for the movie "night at the museum", which is about dinosaurs coming to life during the closing hours.

at first, before knowing it was for the film, i also thought that "i think i'm gonna lose it, lose it, lose it" was all about his virginity, as you would on a friday night. but as soon as i heard what the movie was about, it all seemed to fit into the storyline of the film.

there are some parts that don't make sense to me, assuming the song was written directly for the movie. lines such as "we could be together" kind of weirded me out.

This song is rad, i particually like Harry's Drumming, he has progressed so much since ROTTF

I think this song is amazing and I like that it's different than all the other McFly songs. I think it is about street-fighting and it sort of reminds me of Beat It.

I have time on my hands so;

Danny has stated in a few interviews that he wrote this song out of frustration when a group of "chavs" were continuously verbally abusing him, his girlfriend and his family on a friday night out, 'I think I'm gonna lose it, lose it, lose it' highlights his difficulty to restrain his temper at times like those. The line, 'they come alive when I work the nights' was inspired by his mother's friend who's shop was burgled after dark; gangs 'come alive at night time'.

In reference to the song, I particularly remember him saying, "The world is so messed up. Street crime and sht like that is only one of the problems mate. We all know we need to sort our world out but most of us are too fcking lazy to do anything about anything" hence the line, 'change the world..'

When the Night At The Museum directors approached McFly, the group decided the song fitted perfectly with the movie because the 'lose it' line can be interpeted in more than one way. For that particular movie, 'I think im gonna lose it' simply refers to losing your mind. They made a few alterations to the lyrics so it would coinside with the plot even more.

Having said all that, I personally often prefer interpreting the eargasmic 'lose it! lose it!' and 'i'll give you something you can scream about' lines in the sexual sense. Haha.

Hahaha JK1 I agree that is pretty awesome :D But yeah I thought it was about that all along, about being scared of the world and stuff at night. This song bursts into my head when i'm coming home late and I see all these gangs and scary people around. Is it weird that McFly make me less scared? Like when i'm in a particularly nervous or frightening situation and I think about one of one of their songs that relates to that situation it sort of takes the fear away and calms me down. Lol I dunno, maybe thats a bit strange. But yeah it makes me love them even more :)
