Such an honest dedication to a Love that once was, but is no longer! We try so hard to make it work, because we are in Love with Love! But as fate would have it, Love would escape us, and the Gods would laugh at us for running in circles around Love and trying so hard. Looking back, we remember the hurt, and realize no doubt it is messy, and we begin to wonder, why on earth do we even attempt something so risky, so messy, and in the bitter end we are left with raw feelings that almost make us change our mind about Love.

One the most touching lyrics I've ever seen. Best lyrics on the album and also one of the best songs I know in general.

i watched her sing this on some you tube viedo and at the end she was crying but so was i so we were even.

It is short, but it's short and sweet. This was the first song I heard off the album besides the two singles she has out already and it's simply amazing. Definitely a song I'll be listening to for a good while.

I watched the video that Eggos=yum mentioned, and it brought me to tears at the end as well.

This song is sad and true. I listen to it a lot, even though it's depressing.

I'm pretty sure the last bit is "Over futile odds, Laughed at by the Gods" not "Over a few tiles, and laughter by the docks"

My favourite song ever. Complete and utter heartbreak really, in any shape or form.
