This song makes any true Misfits fan cringe. The Misfits arent a fashion statement. But dont try telling that to every kid calling themselve a punk, they wont listen. Aiden is a f!@#ing joke. Its like hot topic took a pathetic shat on emo music. This song makes my ears hurt. Im scared to see what bands song they cover next.
You could be a little less of an elitist bastard. What is it with people who claim to be "punk" who imply that they are cooler, or somehow more enlightened than anyone else? All i ever see you losers post is "eew, more than 18 people like that song, its SO NOT PUNK ARHGHGHG IM SO PUNK ARGHGHG" What you conveniently overlook is that more or less, you're no different from people who like pop music. This was actually really good. But i do like the Misfits one better. Most of the time original songs are better anyway. But yea I thought it was fine. Emo is such bullshit though, as in the term. Look you need fuckin emotion to write songs unless you rap or "play" pop music. And the guys who are all like oh they can't do this they arn't punk enough. I agree Aiden is not a punk band, to me they are kinda post-horror punk but whatever I don't like labels. But thats the glory of this remake, THEY DID SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH IT!!!! They actually got a little creative. Which is good when most covers you get now a day are just the same song just with a different band. I mean I listen to all types of music(except rap, some pop, hip-hop, country and all that other garbage we call music). I like most of these "emo" bands as you call them. But mainly I hate the people(most of them) who listen to this "emo" music, especially MCR's fans(congratulations guys you destroyed a good band.) And plus all you people who are all like this is a disgrace to punk, and Glenn Danzig. He'd probably like this because in an interview he said he's ok with people doing covers that are different ,that have their own style, not just a copy of the same old song. I feel that this is a great cover Nicky played Aiden, nicely played.
