This song is probably my favorite Meat Loaf song, so of course let me give the obligatory, I can't believe no one's commented on this song yet, anyway...to me the song is special to me because there was someone I had really deep feelings for for a very long time, and it killed me that the person never felt the same way about me, and it was frusterating and at least one point in time, I said to myself, just once I wish YOU would cry over ME and then a year or two later this song came out and it really helped me express my feelings at elast to myself.
Heres a comment! yeah this ones really gut wrenching. I listened to it over and over after my b/f dumped me, saying he had never thought anything other than me being pretty. Its a killer, definately, when that sort of thing happens.
i LOVE this song and i cant believe hardly anyones commented on it....the first time i heard this song was on the joseph technicolored dreamcoat show thingy and i wasnt even watching the programme but as soon as i heard him sing i stopped in my tracks and i was mesmerised....the song is so beautiful and has a realli powerful message and meatloaf sings it with such emotion....as he normalli does lol....no one could sing it better than he does

Love this song, to me this reminds me of a girl I was with, I loved her deeply and thought she did too, 'cept she didn't, she led me to believe that and after we split she said she was hurt and couldn't turn her feelings off for me, but I never saw it, she never seemed bothered by the fact we were over. The anguish in the song really reminds me of how upset I felt after I saw how things were really going, I just wanted her to cry over me for once so it didn't seem those months were a waste and a lie.
This song is so amazing........I used to listen to it all the time because I thought my bf didn't rly care about me and i was hurting....i rly wanted him to feel the same way I did about him......but then he started quoting this song saying that he would cry over me, die over me ect.......now it makes me really happy to hear it :):)
