Your Melody Lyrics

My head rings of you
A melody that's hard to sing out
Twisting around
With no cadence
And no root
By dissonance
I sing of you

And my ears are deaf to the sound of sense
I've tried to beat it in

prettiest song in the whole world can't get a comment.

this song is incredible, really powerful in it's simplicity. about being stuck on someone, for better or for worse, and not being able to get them out of your head, like a melody. his comparing the girl to a song is gorgeous.

cadence - rhythmic flow of a sequence of sounds or words. dissonance - inharmonious or harsh sound; discord; cacophony.

i can't stop listening to this song.

I was thinking the same thing, solarflair. This song is absolutely sublime and can very easily be related to. The haunting, airy sound in the background throughout the intro and first verse are quite effective. It reflects the hollowness you feel when you care some much about someone and are that helpless.

Wow, I really effed that comment up. I was only half-heartedly paying attention to what I was saying. :]

I love the last two lines

"And my ears are deaf to the sound of sense I've tried to beat it in"

Isn't that how everyone feels when they're in love?

this song is perfect. its dissonance and cadence in itself. Two words that describe completely how it feels to be helplessly attached to someone you know you should not be attached to. It needs nothing more and nothing less the entire song is pure genius.
