I Know There's Something Going On Lyrics

I can see that it won't be long
You grow cold when you keep holding on
You know you've changed and your words they lie
That's something you can't deny

I call, you're not at home
You're at home, but you're not alone
If you want to leave, then why don't you see
Your love is gone anyway

I know there's something going on
I know there's something going on
I know it won't be long
Won't be long before you're gone

There's something going on
There's something going on

I know a good thing must come to an end
But it's hard to take losing a friend
I know what you think and what's in your mind
So darling, look, why pretend?

I know there's something going on
I know there's something going on
I know it won't be long
It won't be long before you're gone

There's something going on
There's something going on

I know there's something going on
I know there's something going on
I know it won't be long
It won't be long before you're gone

There's something going on
There's something going on
There's something going on
There's something going on

Cover art for I Know There's Something Going On lyrics by Frida

The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory. Considering the painful divorce and infidelity Frida endured jusdt before making this record, the song is all the more poignant. It really speaks to that horrible feeling you get in your belly when you know your lover is cheating, but you just can't prove it.

Brilliant pop song. Everyone should seek out this recording.

Yes,it feels like someone punched you. It's sickening.I agree with you,but the line "I know a good thing must come to an end"-but if it was never good,it hurts but it is a blessing disguise.

Oh and Phil Collins played drums and you can hear his producer skills in the guitar riff.
