Alright
It's been a while since I said something real
But the rap game fake, too fake to feel
You feel me
I met a girl who talked like she looking for answers
She said she love rap, but she hate all of the rappers
Well, that's backwards, asked her if she hate me
She asked if I'm a rapping human, or a human rapping being
I said I'm too high for that
Too high to answer the question
But I enjoyed her company; conversation and sexing but she
Taught me a lesson and that rarely ever happens
Coz I suck at listening I'm usually thinking about rapping, oh well
Nobody's perfect, but she said I could have fooled her
When I'm in that puddle pussy, I maneuver, I'm proving I'm nothing better than her ex
She said I could have fooled her
Well I think I love her too after taking another shooters
I knew her, I know her
Blocking out the pain
With whatever make her feel numb and dumb in her brain
Feel like she going insane
I tell her I understand
Drugs stuck in her vein I hope to God that she okay but she
She's never felt better
Nah, nah she's never felt better
She said she's never felt better
Well, I dont think she'll ever feel better
I met a nigga
So troubled in his life
And I ain't saying I got mine figured but I think I'm doing alright compared to that brother
A conversation full of pain
As kids we used to play together
Damn my nigga, so much changed
If only I knew you'd end up like this I would have made you stop
Younger than me but you taught a nigga how to roll a blunt
First time I got high, you was right beside a brother
It was fun but Lord knows that I got a lot of will power
I was on, you was on. The rizzler lit
But the drugs got stronger and I decided to quit
Coz I got a goal
I got a dream I've gotta commit
Told you to work on a passion without a dream you ain't shit, but nah
You don't listen
Now we don't even speak
I became a dreamer
And you became a thief
And I hope that you don't get me wrong I don't mean to judge you
I'm just talking to my cousin like fuck it, I miss the brother for real
And I hope you feel better, yeah
I hope you get to feel better
But I don't think you'll ever feel better, well
Nothing's better than the best
God bless
It's been a while since I said something real
But the rap game fake, too fake to feel
It's been a while since I said something real
But the rap game fake, too fake to feel
It's been a while since I said something real
But the rap game? Nah
You feel me
Well, seems like I need some help out myself
No problem with being me don't wanna be nobody else
But that right there is the problem I wish I was good at math & physics
Probably trade it in for all the talent I have
Coz all the talent I have, has got me crazy enough
Didn't know what I was doing when I was twelve
But I was writing and writing all by myself
Mentally blocked out the world and lost a part of my youth and now I'm all grown up
I'm struggling with all this nothing
Paranoid with all my actions
Don't know if my niggas trust me
Or if my lady love me
I got love for everybody
What happened to my life God I never used to worry about nothing
Yeah, yeah the "devil" had me thinking that
Had me thinking I'ma win his fight if I keep swinging back
Bring it back
Bring back what you took from me
All of those years away from the world that you took from me
But, but I gotta be a man now
Never had a dad but I do understand how
How? Show love to everybody
And thank God that I still thank God, buddy I've never felt better
Nah I've never felt better
I feel good

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
