all theses songs are gorgeous. they're like a pop dream state, and the lyrics are more like conversations.
i think this is about a betrayal, and maybe the person has realised the error of their ways and is now helping to stop the bleeding, to go along with the metaphor, but it's too late, the trust will be incredibly difficult to rebuild.
