To me, it's about getting out of a relationship with someone that you put your hope and love into. It didn't mean anything to them. After losing your identity to make them happy they threw you away. The way they treated you left you dead inside. Maybe they didn't mean to hurt you because they may just have a personality disorder like Malignant Narcissism or Histrionic Personality Disorder. They can treat you so good to get you in love, then abuse you. Make you go crazy. Brainwash you. Your life turns into hell.
This is a great song. It used to feel so depressing to listen to, but now it just feels normal thats how dead I am inside. I used to feel like a ball of life walking around, i've been drained and i feel so dead now. I believed her when she said she was hurting and I would hurt with her. It was all a game.
