I L.O.V.E this song... i think its prob my fav new LB song at the moment - was hard to beat After Dark, which i heard live in aug 05 and have been anticipating for so long... but i think it may have done it

this song is my ringtone... and i cant tell the difference between the ringtone and tha real song, its all those synths!

Ok I'll be honest, I very hated little birdy, VERY. But I think I may be slowly converting....ahhhh..... I adore this song, theyre definately getting better, alot better.
I love this song, it's very catchy but the lyrics are dark and you don't expect that.
I think it's about an eating disorder. Ï'm sick of feeling this way, my body's okay". Then in 'Don't'you've got lines line "don't try to feed me, you and you and you"ending on "fade me in the background". Katy is looking less gaunt than she did a few years back which is fantastic - she looks gorgeous now days
i agree with pinky bee - when i first heard this song, i was like 'ooh, its catchy~' and then i really looked into the lyrics, and what i deciphered myself that it was about anorexia/eating disorders.
I know a few people who suffer from eating disorders - one of them died from it, too. I know that the general psychology behind them is that they are convinced they need to perfect their body, when in truth they are 'unperfecting' it. Er, does that make sense?
The way she repeats certain parts a few times over, suggests to me the nagginess people with eating disorders (though not just them, obviously) can have. They lock people out, but at the same time are dependant on others' thoughts.

Her heart is locked on this particular goal, and the second verse refers to the contradicting ideals people with the said disorder have.
In truth, i'm too lazy to explain it. But thats just my thoughts.
Im pretty sure its not about a eating disorder. Perhaps pleasing a crowd? Perhaps being a performer even though you're feeling crappy? Its a cool song either way :D
