This song is about the love between the vampire and angel being brought forth before god.

"I've made peace with God and burned the sage" (He's trying to make amends with god for loving one of his angels)

"Soon the Stage Enacts the Fallen Stars" (The angel and vampire are being put forth in front of a judge and jury "the stage")

"Save us from the evil that we do" (This is their plea to the judge or "god")

"Tonight we're ghost" (Tonight they're neither vampire nor angel they're ghost)

"I've fallen down but never give up" (Obviously they're love has had a rocky past among the other angels and vampires but he never gave up on his love)

"Create what was left behind, it was you" (God created humans, vampires are dead but still walk the earth never actually making it to heaven)

Beyond the hourglass, a hundred years have passed buried in stone (They're love is epic and has withstood more time than an hourglass can count "beyond the hourglass")

My heart still beats outside this Please put the final nail into this coffin (This is a saying "the nail in the coffin" meaning the final blow. He's begging the judge to just finsh him off rather than not being with his love)

Ten-century has closed (Again this is the time their love has witstood, "ten-centuries" and now it's over)

Remember me as you are reborn (There's a theory that once aperson is reborn that they forget everything about their past life. So he's telling her to remember him as she is reborn) Save us from the evil that we do (Once again a plea to god. They know they've done wrong.)

Can you remember? (He's asking her if she can remember him no matter how long they will be seperated)

tonight we sit and remember (Tonight they sit together and reminess anbout they're love, all the good the had)

A Day of wrath, that day Weeping shall rise again from the embers What trembling there will be The Guilty man to be judged, spare him (Today, judgement day the he will feel gods' wrath and his angel will weep for her love lost. He was found guilty for what he did an now he's being judge.)

So this song is awesome. I don't know whyyyy nobody else has commented.

Being the last song on the album, the end.. and stuff... For me it means like.. well, it's after the huge battle, & vampire dude is hurt and going to die, and angel lady is sad, and they both knew their relationship was pretty much doomed from the start, but they love each other...

and then the latin, i think that means that ultimately they were brought together again. happy ending. :] I dunno.

the guitar/violin bit at the end is amazing =] love this song but not too sure what its all about

to me this song is about the end of everything. the pain and misery. time kills and this song represents that.

years have pasted and history becomes legends. the story of the two lovers will only remain in our hearts, those of whom have watched [listened] to their story.

all we can do is search our memory for the moments that mattered.

to me this is such a beautiful song. it made me cry..

being that this is the last song on a concept album about the angel and vampire who fall in a forbidden love, i think this is when the angel dies.

or when the vampire dies. since, "the guilty man" and whatnot.

Yeah, it's an amazing song...it actually made me cry the first time I listened to it. It's really deep and kind of depressing though, because it's the last goodbye between the angel and the vampire when they dedcide that the best thing for their love is to let each other go. The first time I listened to the album I thought that the vampire died, but the angel and the vampire really decide that if they stay together they'll always be fighting the battle so they decide to return to where they were before they fell in love.

I definitely think the song has something to do with God, time, the end, and judgment. It's extremely well put together and it makes me think even harder about the whole story.

I think they've just both decided to stop, and hand everything back over to God. They're both gonna remember each other as Vampire puts himself away, and Angel goes back to Heaven. And they're going to wait until the 'day of wrath' to see if God will make everything alright.

This is definitely my favorite song. It's amazing in all ways possible.

This is about the angel and vampire standing before God.

They are Ghosts because at this moment they are neither vampire or angel.

God judges them for their sins.
