Why...why why why is there only one comment on ALL of Sean's songs combined? huff Anyhow, I was hoping someone would have said something about this one already. To me, being a shallow teenager incapable of critical thought, it sounds like fighting between two people that are in love, and how it makes you feel. Lost, and that everything seems so much more important/life threatening than it actually is. Ah, and that arguments make us all act very immature.

I'm just gonna break it down into what I think each verse means:

• I don't want to argue anymore, if it'll end it I don't care if I'm wrong. Look away from me and live life. No matter what the past still remains and it always will.

• You brought this on without my knowing. You thought it would never come to this. Friends killing friends.

in your room filled with the things that you've never done does anyone really care your shadow just wont leave you alone 'cos he knows well he knows what you've done

• You're living a lie, but no one cares. Still your past won't leave you because it is witness to your terrible deeds (launching the assault maybe?)

waves don't wonder when you're drowning under the sea so don't look for me find her keep her lose her deserts you in the end you were my friend like your shadow no one knows you as well as I do

• The masses won't care when you're struggling, so don't fall back on me. You go through so much together to have her just ditch you, you regret what she did because you did in fact like her. Just like her "shadow" you have grown to know her just as well.

the line "life is mostly what you don't see anyway.. so just look away" is the best

Sean was on David Letterman in October of 2006 explaining what most of the songs on his newest CD meant, it's a true story of an event that happened to him, his long time girlfriend of a few years that he was madly in love with cheated on him with his best friend and not long after it all happened his best friend died and he never had the chance to apologize for things he said.....so the song is pretty self explanatory after you watch that interview, you can find it on you tube under "sean lennon dead meat"

is really

"finder keepers, losers desert you in the end"

Maybe

"Find her keep her lose her deserts you in the end" is suppose to have double meaning, thus explaining the reasoning behind clustered words?
