Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
This is another great NIN instrumental song, off of "Closer To God". It's kinda slow in the beginning, but it gets faster and faster. It kinda sounds like feet scuffling on the floor in the beginning...obviously the name is a spin-off of the song "March Of The Pigs" and I think some sort of correlation is this song is the pigs marching. Just an idea.
I skip this song 95% of the time, I really don't like it for some reason. It seems rather out of place on Halo 9. I like .Three.Lefts.'s interpretation of it, but it just doesn't meet the standards of Trent's other instrumentals.
I agree with "Amaranthian". This song doesn't seem to fit very well on "Closer to God". If anything it should have been on Halo 07 instead.. would have fit much better.
As for the meaning, who knows, maybe it has none. Maybe it's just a break from all the damn Closer remixes one after another..
Another thing I noticed is at the very end of the song, the last "sonic" part the path that sonic is taking is the the spiral on Closers cover it goes behind the head spirals around the ear then out the other, then spirals aroun that ear. Trent is a genius.
