I've looked outside
But I've never wandered out

I'd like to pull you into me
Intercept you, in between
But I will never walk without, outside

That way
Outta the way
Stay away from you

I've looked inside
But I never wandered in

I'd like to pull you into me
Intercept you in between
But I will never wander in
Inside

That way
Outta the way
Stay away from you

Universe, breaking us down

That way
Outta the way
Stay away from you
That way
Outta my way
Stay away from you
You, you, you

Universe, breaking us down

    Song Meaning

I think its about a man who is always wanting to escape and find a better life elsewhere. Not the conventional way.

And then it talks of a women who wants to settle down and be in one place.

The way he sings it so tragically really makes me believe the song is about someone who shares the energy of a horse, feeling like he is cursed for not being able to stay with a women based on his consistent intention, (people who want to escape are always looking for ways)

"that way, il always stay away from you"

As appose to her inconsistent intention that is only revealed once she wishes to settle down. So in other words, YES it is written about the divorce, and yes it was most probably due to her wanting him to settle down, and always feeling like he cant commit properly due to always being out (prob on tour and doing other things).

Poor guy wrote this because he probably felt that it was the mein* reason they can't be together, and it makes him feel better knowing we can relate. I know i definitely can. intention always breaks people. Especially when ones is a direct contrast of the others. See the way the stanzas are formed clearly conveys a sense of contrasting intention between the two individuals. Which keeps them separated.

I guess in conclusion looks that contrast work the best in relationships. but intentions that contrast doom the relationship to fail.

(reminds me of my parents ... Father wanted to be a writer and stay inside never leave the place, and my mother wanted to travel and go out constantly first chance she got.) In the end that killed it.

    Godspeed chino !

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

When We Were Young

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
