Kiwi Maddog 20/20

I have no idea where Elliott got the inspiration for such a strange title. Anyway, I think that "Roman Candle" is hugely underrated. So many people get caught up with "Either/Or" and seem to forget about "Roman Candle" or "Elliott Smith".

Maddog 20/20 is cheap wine in a bottle...

listening to this song while drinking kiwi maddog 20/20 does not make it taste any better. god it's awful (the maddog, not the song).

I'm not sure why Elliott Smith was inspired to name the song after Maddog 20/20, but i do know some background on it. Elliott and I forgot whoelse were in college at the time (i think) and they bought the bottle of Kiwi Maddog 20/20 because of it's green color resembled anti-freeze..or (again..i think). It might have been just because it's a crazy green color.

is it just me or could song have perfectly in the pulp fiction soundtrack? well, anyway, great song to listen to with your eyes closed, I start to see short movies in my head.

I love this song. And yes stcintown, I think it could have done well in the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. I've always thought it deserved to be in a movie of that style. I never actually thought of Pulp Fiction before though. Kinda cool.

It's one of his best songs.. He should have made an album of songs with this kind of.. surf wibe.

Pity there aren't songs like this ending all of his albums.
