This song perfectly suits my situation right now...he has no idea how much I adore him or what I would do but...it may not happen for us. At least Jack and Sally ended up together in the movie.
It suits Fiona's voice (and her personality as an artist altogether)....describes what has been my situation for almost 5 years now. It's all about unrequited love :(
