The Hero's Return Part 2 Lyrics

Jesus Christ, I might as well be dead
I can't see how dangerous
It must feel to me
Training human cogs for the machine
Without some shell-shocked lunatic like me

Bombarding their still soft shells

With sticks and stones
That were lying around
In the pile of unspeakable feelings I'd found

When I turned back the stone
Turned over the stone
Of my own disappointment back home

Cover art for The Hero's Return Part 2 lyrics by Pink Floyd

This song appeared on the Not Now John single B-side. Sorry, but that's the only place I think you can listen to it.

It seems like he added a more angsty verse to an already angsty song. It wasn't bad, but Rog could have done better.
