It's profits. As in money. But oh my god this song is amazing. I think it's about how everything is about money and the song is saying that Cobra Starship doesn't care about that. But that's the literal meaning. I'm missing the deeper meaning, I just know it (:
well idk to me this song was more bashing all the pop-punk bands that emerged into the public recently, like fall out boy and panic! at the disco, and saying that people don't really care about them, that's the whole "what you got means shit to me" part... and also i think he's saying that these new bands think they're all that and a bag of chips and all punk or wvr when they're acutally pretty sucky and pop. idk that's just whay i think.
Agreed with SaturdaysPassAway. It's to do with the money-hungry artists, who are only making music because they can make money from it. I wouldn't go so far as saying that it's about Fall Out Boy or Panic!, since they're on the same record label, but maybe it's about the followers of the whole "emo" trend.
cobra starship worked with joe from fall out boy and toured with panic! so i dont think he really meant those bands.

cobra wouldnt talk about panic! and fob theyr all friends on the same label i think its more about all the other bands that see what panic! and fob have done and are trying to copy and repeat it
i agree with redrainsyndrome they are good friends with Fall Out Boy and panic! THey are on the honda civic tour with fob and they have worked with joe and pete signed them and pat has been in a few of their videos so they wouldnt be like talking about them like that...just my opinion
hey klawnsie8, i think your wrong b/c cobra starship wouldnt be bashing their fellow lable-mates and tour-mates. it doesnt make sense. the bands are all really good friends. and patrick from fob had a huge roll in producing this album, as he will the next. so for them to write songs about their lablemates doesnt make sense to me
