Skin and Bones

THis song confuses me...yes, he's telling a girl not to become anorexic, he loves her (the way she is)...but what I don't get is, does this girl love him back??? I mean, no doubt he loves HER....

i think in this song he is saying, don't change for me, i like you how you are. its a pretty basic concept.

definitely one of my favorites off of the new album.

i agree that he's saying don't change for me, i love you the way you are. but i also think that there's more with the whole "skin and bones" bit. he seems to be talking about some sort of eating disorder that his girl has. he's worried about her and says "don't push it baby" and "i love just the way you are" to get her to feel better about herself and get better.

skin and bones- anorexia. come on, look at everybody today. they feel they need to be perfect and he's saying don't because he will love her anyway.

don't push it, don't go too far he says. exactly.

I agree with all of the comments so far (the whole eating disorder idea, mainly anorexia). And like:

Well, think it over baby just keep walkin' on until you find your man

If a guy doesn't accept her the way she is she should look for another one because there are plenty of guys out there.
