Haha, I also found it on Guitar Hero. It's such an upbeat song, I like it. I think the meaning is that no matter what stupid stuff his girlfriend does, he still loves her. Wrong, but whatever.
This song hits pretty hard. Because I'm going through the same situation. I love this girl, like a sister from another mister type. But its our love is turning into falling, instead of just simply 143's. Well..I think the last verse is a good metaphor "... the house burned down and we're running for cover hey, hoo, you should know all of this makes me love you more..." the "house" is their friendship, and cover is obviously "love"...

I also loved playing this song one of my favortes. As for the meaning, i always assumed it was a metaphor for a forbidden love.
