Leave me out with the waste
This is not what I do
It's the wrong kind of place
To be thinking of you
It's the wrong time
For somebody new
It's a small crime
And I've got no excuse
Is that alright, yeah?
Give my gun away when it's loaded?
Is that alright, yeah?
If you don't shoot it how am I supposed to hold it?
Is that alright, yeah?
Give my gun away when it's loaded?
Is that alright yeah?
With you?
Leave me out with the waste
This is not what I do
It's the wrong kind of place
To be cheating on you
It's the wrong time
But she's pulling me through
It's a small crime
And I've got no excuse
And is that alright, yeah?
Give my gun away when it's loaded? (Is that alright, yeah?)
Is that alright, yeah?
If you don't shoot it how am I supposed to hold it? (Is that alright, yeah?)
Is that alright, yeah?
If I give my gun away when it's loaded? (Is that alright, yeah?)
Is that alright
Is that alright with you?
Is that alright, yeah?
If I give my gun away when it's loaded? (Is that alright, yeah?)
Is that alright, yeah?
You don't shoot it how am I supposed to hold it? (Is that alright, yeah?)
Is that alright with you?
If I give my gun away when it's loaded? (Is that alright, yeah?)

heard this on greys anatomy. Such a beautiful song.
I think this song is about two people who just broke up but still have a lot of feelings for each other<br /> <br /> At least one of them is seeing someone new (Damien) but he still has a lot of feelings for his ex. His new girlfriend could be a "rebound", just to process the hurt of the break-up. He knows it is not fair towards his new girlfriend, being with her for the wrong reasons.<br /> <br /> Maybe the gun is a metaphor for the heart.<br /> "Is that all right, to give my heart away when it's broken.."<br /> "You don't want it, but I can't stay alone forever.."<br /> <br /> The 'gun' is loaded, because someone will get hurt again in this situation.<br />
