omg i love this song with a passion! sarah has such a beautiful voice.ithink this is talking about trying to get rid of self-hate/low self-esteem. idk, that's what it makes me think about

I love this song! Probably one of my favourites by them. I agree with blackangel, I think it's about rising up from low self esteem and beating depression (I won the war in my head). Sarah has said she had low self esteem to the point of suicide, but has risen about that. I believe it's based on that. This song is so inspirational :)

This is my fav song by this band not only for the meaning itself but also because of the way Sarah sings..it's just beautiful. Sarah is telling someone to believe in himself/herself because he/she can be anything he/she wants. And to prove that, she says she once had low self esteem and now she is living her dream ("I came from nothing here I am I won the war in my head!") I like that this song has a very positive meaning to everyone who's feeling down.
