In the TELEVISION show, duh. No dip, sherlock. The song's for Jake Ryan. However, there's a pretty obvious interpretation of this song; Girl likes good guy friend --> good guy friend is oblivious & dates other girls --> if situtation was a movie, Guy would fall in love with girl --> Happy ending fade to black.
This song is great and easy to relate to. about a girl who falls in love with her guy best friend, which is obviously hard when he talks about other girls "Oh sure! Wanna see me and tell me all about her" which has happened to me before. but she was saying if this would be like a movie, they would have a happy ending and they would end up together.
alright, this song is on t.v and all, but it still does have some meaning to it! it doesnt nessisarily need to be abuot jake ryan, but the song is written for him, anyone could beable to relate in a way i guess.
the meaning to me is that: she is in love with this boy, jake ryan.[or atleast thinks it] he always talk to her like they are perfect, cinematic[MOVIE LIKE] but he has every other girl that way he talks to all of them like that. he always is the one to go for the obvious girl instead of her! [for example miley cyrus and nick jonas dating, like obvious starr dating] and she just wants him to see that they would be perfect together, that they would become cinematic[movie like]
and yeah the hole song is her and how she wants her relationship to be cinematic with him. but the only true acting that is going on is her acting threw her tearssss. which is sad.

well this song has a few meanings that can be interprited they are 1. a person who falls in love with a freind and their freinds so they obviously have a lot in common but is kinda shy to admit to the person about it. but and i would be the best freind you would fall in love with in the end means you are gonna fall in love with but life is not as simple as that but its not. and the other is a person who finds a celebrity attractive but its obviously hard to get a celeb so miley is saying still be my fan and watch my movies because it will just prove to you if i knew you we would fall in love.
