Contempt Breeds Contamination

This song is about Amadou Diallo who was shot 41 times, and 19 of those shots impacted. He was killed by four police officers and the event is deemed by many a racial attack. He was an innocent man wrongly and brutally (41 shots!?) killed.

Great job on getting the lyrics in early, though I have some dispute with the lyrics in this verse "Mistaken Identity You really got this one wrong Individually singled out He must have a gun"

or to be more specific - "Individually singled out" should be "Racially singled out"

As to my opinion on the song, I love it. As disappointed as I am with Trivium's sudden change of style, I do enjoy the songs and with that said this is my favorite song on the CD.

perhaps it's "murder must still be a crime, with our inherent freedom"?

correction, "when our inherent freedom is hatefully cut down by who we trust"

the correction should be "when our inherent freedom-is hatefully gunned down by who we entrust" this song about how 4 police officers shot down a guy for being of different race, as said above

the lyrics i think, should be

no crime yet they shot away instead of no crying the shadow way

and instead of realise that the blood is on your hands should be he now lies dead the blood is on your hands

as said above it is 'murder must still be a crime' not 'but there must still be a crime. and also in the second chorus or the part that starts of with 'how can this be the answer .....' it says show, not shot. just letting you know.
