Awesome fucking song. Fucking intense. A lot of possible interpretations. You could see oppressive governments or drugs or just pure brutality.
Why isnt this album parental advisroy? I like it and all, but it swears a lot for non P.A.
The lyrics in the CD booklet aren't the EXACT lyrics they sing. Jeff and Waylon supposedly did that to get around the censors.
yep, the book says "funked up". for anyone interpreting this, would it help that the original title was going to be "Stoned"
Its not because they wanted to get around the censors, they're just that into their music. I'd swear too, if the drums were beating in my head like that. This is a really driving beat. The guitar, bass, synth, the drums, all of it is a collective explosion of anger and frustration and stress. The album isn't parental advisory, because theres a certain number of times you can say a certain word before they slap the sticker on it. On average, you can only say "Fuck" twice, Shit 4 times, God damn about 8-9 times. Everything else is once or twice. Thats how their rules work. I mean, watch a PG movie, they say Shit in there, don't see no problem with that.
