Boulders Lyrics
I feel locked away
With the weight of the world on my shoulders
Crushing on my head are boulders
Made of lies and dust from all of us
What of the bonds we've made
That have started to fade
We can't control the time
But right now I'll take what I can get out of my life
Medicate me again
So I fall away
Medicate me now
So I fall away
I feel torn between
Two different sides of an opinion
Don't know what state I've been in
Don't believe in trust, for only one of us
What of the progress made
That night we all forgave
It was a thought out crime
But you should take what you can get out of this life
I never said that I didn't need you
Put down your arms
And wrap them both right around me
Right around me
With the weight of the world on my shoulders
Crushing on my head are boulders
Made of lies and dust from all of us
That have started to fade
We can't control the time
But right now I'll take what I can get out of my life
So I fall away
Medicate me now
So I fall away
Two different sides of an opinion
Don't know what state I've been in
Don't believe in trust, for only one of us
That night we all forgave
It was a thought out crime
But you should take what you can get out of this life
Put down your arms
And wrap them both right around me
Right around me

Yeah as others have said this is the best song on the album it's so pretty and sad and i love it! But I also miss the old New Found Glory... Catalyst was their best album in my opinion. It just seems so unique to me and everything it's great. This album is just so mainstream it's like everything else at the moment...oh well. Hopefully theres another album like Catalyst. If not, there's always just Catalyst!
I completely freaking LOVE this song. It's my favorite off of the new album, by far. :)
Possibly the best song NFG has ever written.
the part where the girls from Eisley kick in is awesome.
Absolutley wicked song, best from the new album. As for the Eisley girls, if anything they spoil it. I kinda miss the old NFG though, this album is definately different to the good old days.
it sounds pretty at the end. but anywy, none of the songs on this new album stuck out much to me, except for this one really.
amazing song.
I feel the exact opposite from 'From First to Last' up there. The only part about this song I like is when Sherri and Stacy Dupree sing.
I totally miss "Nothing Gold Can Stay" era A New Found Glory.
i really love this song.
"I never said that I didn't need you Put down your arms And wrap them both right around me Right around me"
it seems like he's saying that even though whatever happened between him and the girl (or whoever) he's talking about ended, he didn't say that he still needed her comfort and companionship. he's regretting her departure, but reassures her that both have to keep living their life.
this song is pretty self explanatory. nevertheless, it's amazing.
