Bang Bang

iyou have to ask about this song, then my advice to you is to take history class. the song is clearly about the man behind the behind the band, Archduke FRANZ FERDINAND. its about his assassination by Gavrilo Princip, young man from Bosnia and a member of the Black Hand, a revolutionary group for slavic unity in the balkaans during the early 20th century. his wife(or fianceee, i can't remember), Sophia, was murdered by Princip as well. he used a now infamous revolver- hence "...first six shots are for you.", to do the dirty work. the assassination was the boiling point regarding slavic and germanic tensions in the region. this was basically the basis of the First World War, hence "...Europe's gonna weap."

in the last chorus it doesn't start with 'bang bang history's complete' it just says 'gavrilo princip'

I adore this song. It's basically about the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The Black Hand is a reference to the assassin (him holding the gun) I'm not totally sure but I think The Black Hand was the name of some club the assassin belonged to. Curiously enough, when Franz Ferdinand (the band) was starting out, they played a number of "secret" gigs under the pseudonym "The Black Hands"
