i picture this song being played on a player piano with nobody sitting there.
I think it's a bit bizarre that the last song on the last album released during Elliott's life is an eerie instrumental called "bye".
Sounds like the music when I'm walking in the mall.
it reminds me of christmas too
I see a carnival closing down for the night and all the freaks and geeks are just around the dark corners. Some lamps light the night but you can't seem to make out whether those figures on the carousel are really alive or not. This wonderful, weird, weave of sound dissolves into a rainbow of faded colors as it is packed away into waiting railroad cars before it disappears to another town far away from here.
Does this remind anyone else of Edward Scissorhands? This would have been perfect in that movie. A little haunting, very beautiful, magical, casually intoxicating, vintagey little tune.
I see a ballerina in a jewerly box spinning in circles and then breaking at the end of the song.
I listen to this song over and over and over. Beautiful, Haunting, I can feel it all.
Love you Elliott Always.
