Well it's getting kind of cold
So I'll take the skyway home
I don't want to be alone
But you've given me no choice
I bet they had a great big laugh back home
When you told them what I've done
Oh I thought you were the one
Talk about the biggest lie
St. Paul is cynical
As I rattle off my problems
To no one listening
And I'm listening to Radio K
Drown my sorrows in the frequency
And I'm listening to Radio K
As she drives away
So I'll take the skyway home
I don't want to be alone
But you've given me no choice
I bet they had a great big laugh back home
When you told them what I've done
Oh I thought you were the one
Talk about the biggest lie
As I rattle off my problems
To no one listening
Drown my sorrows in the frequency
And I'm listening to Radio K
As she drives away

Radio K is the college radio station for University of Minnesota. The song is you standard "Boy likes girl, girl doesn't like boy" kind of song but it's awesome.
How would he possibly take the skyway home? Does he live in an office building?
well, given that he is talking about Radio K, it is fair to assume he is in Minneapolis or St. Paul. the Minneapolis Skyway System is pretty expansive. so, feasibly, he probably could get home using it.
Additionally, it is also probably making reference to the song "Skyway" by The Replacements.
where i say "the Minneapolis Skyway System..." replace Minneapolis with St. Paul.

I guess I don't really know the St Paul skyway system, being that I never go to St Paul because why would I? I'll take your word for it.
Also, yeah, I kind of assumed it was a reference.
I always thought that they were referencing the Pulaski Skyway, being that they're from NJ... but I guess that makes sense too?
