Juice Box, Paper Hat, and A Line Of Pixie Stix Lyrics

So many surfaces so colorless and bland
I’ve got so many colors in my new box in my hand
One day I’ll think about getting
But today I’m just gonna color the sky

Start with the blue draw circular clouds
Then with the green I add the food for the cows
Next with the red I draw a house too small
For any real person but that don’t matter at all

Brown bird with a triangular beak
Yellow legs with three lines for feet
A green car with circular headlights
Bust out the scissors, gonna bring this drawing to life

Mommy please don’t make me go to school
I wanna draw a castle and dragon in a swimming pool
Yellow starts in the black
Blue moon with a happy face these days that’s not right

Juice Box Paper Hat and a Line of Pixie Stix

I wanna be the one there
To draw you pictures and play with your hair
Virginia beach isn’t too far away from you
Maybe this summer it won’t be for me too

To me this is about someone enjoying being a kid and knowing theyre going to grow up one day. "one day i'll think about getting high, but today i'm just gonna colour the sky" It's a cute song. I can't believe how popular PlayRadioPlay! got so quickly..

DRUGS DONT MEAN ANYTHING TO HIM AT THIS POINT. HE JUST WANTS TO DO WHAT HE DID WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER, AND LOVE A GIRL AND DO WHATEVER HE WANTS FOR HER. basically, shes his drugs.

Again, to me, this song is about seeing things differently and acting like a child. Just wanting to have fun and not let anything get in the way of life. "one day i'll think about getting high, but today i'm just gonna colour the sky" To me, this means he will think about getting high on life, not on drugs :S but anyways i love this song.

Dan is a great song writer. this song makes you feel like a kid again not caring about the outside world but how many crayons you have left or how you try really hard not to color outside the lines! [:

I think it's about trying to bring that childish simplicity into the harder problems of the adult life. Like trying to bring the easiness of the problem of asking your mom to let you stay home from school into the problem of your girlfriend moving far away from you.

This is such a nice song to escape to. It's about forgetting all responsibilities and problems and just being innocent and care free =]

Like all have said above me, This song is about him wishing that he had the simple pleasures of being a kid again. And how they were the natural equivalent of getting high. Just like Madi.
