She waits down the hall
for daddy to bring her out
She cries she dies a little each day
Now she opens her eyes
Man she don't know why she's been taken
And I'm losing more than I had
to give
And I'm sinking faster now with
anchor of sin
I'm old and I'm fadin' to a world of my own
I'm dyin' alone without you guess I'll
carry on yeah yeah
Now she's opened her eyes
Man she don't know why she's been taken
And I'm losing more than I had to give
And I'm sinking faster now with anchor of sin
for daddy to bring her out
She cries she dies a little each day
Man she don't know why she's been taken
to give
And I'm sinking faster now with
anchor of sin
I'm dyin' alone without you guess I'll
carry on yeah yeah
Man she don't know why she's been taken
And I'm sinking faster now with anchor of sin

I have no idea what this song mean, if someone could post on it that would be great.:D
i feel like it's someone that's been taken away from her family for some reason.. either she's done something wrong or her family has.
And I'm losing more than I had to give And I'm sinking faster now with anchor of sin
someone's done a LOT in there past (nicht gut lol) and regrets it.. & realizes everything's messed up now & it's too late
What i'm thinking this song means - and i might be off here - is He's a father and had his daughter taken away from him. Maybe for drugs or ... maybe he left her mother or something. And he's imagining her sitting there missing him, and he's getting older every day living his life without being able to be a part of hers.
it's a song about regret.
Yeah, I agree with Nimily, I think it's about a little girl whos father left her for the illegal brand of sinning..and as she waits for him she "dies a little each day".
