first of all i love this song. second of all, i'm sort of always confused by nlf's songs, and what david says they're actually about. but this one, i actually saw. it's about a guy who falls in love with a prostitute, but she tells him things aren't gonna change.
i only listened to this song cause i came with my My Chemical Romance CD...i guess its okay, only listened to it once though...
i don't think it's necessarily about a prostitute..but a girl who is only looking for sex. with no attachments, no feelings, nothing. and a guy who wants more than that.
it is about a prostitute. they say on the NLF website. and yeah i listened to this song off the MCR eyeball records disky thing.. and its my second fave of that disk, my favourite is the one by Going Home.. that is an awesome awesome awesome song!!!!!!!!!!
I also heard mine on my Eyeball disk but I got a different volume of that, it seems like, than everyone else, because my friend's is similar to mine, but a few of the band's are different.
Anyway, I never really thought about the meaning on this one because i like We Dont Bleed better, but I did always see the chorus as being kind of sarcastic and I always sang it that way....the lyric for me is kind of an implied, "Suuuuure, things won't be different AT ALL...whatever" lol that probably sounds weird but that was how I interpreted it the whole time i was listening.
