Easy Now Lyrics
Holdin' you, holdin' me
Everyone could see
We were in ecstasy
Makin' love against the wall
Feelin' very small
When we didn't need to be
Easy now, don't let my love
Flow out of you
Please remember that I want you
To come too
Oh my darling, help me please
When I'm without you, I fall down
And graze my knees
I look so funny and I feel sad
Your love is all I've had
So please don't tease
Easy now, don't let my love
Flow out of you
Please remember that I want you
To come too
Yesterday, you know tomorrow
Could it be I'll have to borrow
Someone new?
I know that I'm the one to blame
But all the same, there must be something
You can do
Easy now, don't let my love
Flow out of you
Please remember that I want you
To come too
Easy now, don't let my love
Flow out of you
Please remember that I want you
To come too
Easy now, don't let my love
Flow out of you
Please remember that I want you
To come too
Everyone could see
We were in ecstasy
Makin' love against the wall
Feelin' very small

Flow out of you
Please remember that I want you

Please remember that I want you
To come too
Flow out of you
Please remember that I want you
To come too

This came out when I was in high school and I thought it was such a cool song. I listened to this the other day and it turned my stomach. The teenage angst thing, I guess. Is that and uncredited George Harrison on harmonies (and 2nd guitar?)
@MamboMan it's Stephen Stills singing harmony. Clapton played it straight once, then they added the harmony, and finally Clapton adding a second guitar.

Clapton arrived at the studio where Stills was producing his record and wanted to record this idea he had in the car. Stills listened and then got excited, wanting to add drums, bass, and electric guitar. Clapton said no: he liked it just soft like that. The harmonies and extra guitar were added to give it more fullness. It's important because it was the first time Clapton ever took control over the music whereas in the past...

To MamboMan ...... I'm just curious to know ...... how do you know all of this? Were you present in the studio when this song was being recorded?

This song's about not cuming too fast
@enchi I believe that you are right about this. However, I have found from experience that there really isn't any way to control this (personally, that is).
