Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
Which languages are those? I can see german, italian, japanese, english and, in a version I´ve been listening to, french. But in what languages are those numbers "adjin, dva, tri" and "li, tva, tri"?
"Adjin, dva, tri" and "Li, Tva, Tri" are both Slavic languages but I'm not sure which. I know "tri" is three in Russian but I don't know any other Russian numbers so I can't say for certain if one is Russian. I can safely guess that one is Russian and the other is something closely related to Russian.

A simple song, counting numbers from 1 to 8. In numerous languages. With a simple yet compelling beat that defies perceived simplicity. I suppose using 0 through 7 would have gone over too many peoples' heads...
Great song. But in the versions I've heard all they're doing is counting from 1-4 in different languages. I've never heard THESE lyrics before. It's nice to know the song has a meaning this deep though. Kraftwerk was seriously underrated and way ahead of their time!
These are not the lyrics to the Kraftwerk song Numbers. Thet re the lyrics to a song by The Addicts that is also called Numbers. The Kraftwerk song features counting one to four in various languages.

Sometimes I'll randomly start speaking in the voice in which this song is sung. People why I'm creepily couting in German.
*wonder why
Simple, yet amazing! I've heard sooooo many rap songs bite this drumbeat. Yet, I can't blame them at all
