i think chris cornell just about butchers the song with repeating oh "Somdaaaayyys" but it got some bad ass guitar work, like the verse riff. these guys are fucking tight and they really are writing good songs now but chris cornells voice still gets on my nerves a lot... i miss zach de la rocha, but i like the rock sound more than the rap sound.. so fuck, i guess im torn...

i hate comparing supergroup bands with their pervious works. i can't see how a fantastic band like Alter Bridge still compared with Creed. they'll gonna shake rock. you'll see. and this one. god, you shouldn't even name zach in this cuz he's not in AUDIOSLAVE.

Love this song. And ColdenScence has a point...Zack is not apart of this band, so there's no sense talkin about him. I think with the Revelations album this band has fully unified as a group as apposed to the first album which was a little more rage and the second which was a little more cornell.

And anywayz, just listen to that riff under the chorus...beautiful...

I agree with you guys and am sick of people referencing to Rage and Soundgarden every time they analyze or review an Audioslave work. Zack is gone, Rage and Soundgarden are done, move the fuck on and recognize Audioslave as an entirely new and different band.

Back to the song... this is a pretty kickass songs, one of my favs on the new album. My favorite part is "There's no need to apologize for the riot in your eyes, somedays, just aint so easy"

Worst fucking song off the CD

this way of thinking is refers to your (and guys like you) concept of music. they buy a album, listen to the songs and expect that every song should be as he wants. like "Original Fire" which is a fantastic song but didn't received well. i like the bands having experimental albums, like Radiohead. many bands don't have this power of risking it's the variety of Audioslave's songs i always enjoy. from Hard Rock to kind of Funk. actually the Solo and also bass slaps of Somdays is so technical and also beautiful.

I think Audioslave as a whole have progressed beautifully with each album. First, you have a debut which has a bit of RATM and Soundgarden residue in it and then comes Out Of Exile, a very distinct album. Next, Revelations, a nice progression and now they sound even more distinct, they have their own flavor, the drumming, riffs and solos are more complete. I think each Audioslave album sounds better than its predecessor. Anywho, I dig this song, I think Cornell still has it and I like his ability to write differently than most. But as for the meaning, I will get back to you on this as I can't quite pinpoint it yet. A pretty badass album though..

It's great twist of hard rock and hard funk. I love it. As the whole album :).
