White Cell Lyrics
Where is the rain that purifies and retaliates?
Where is the one I begged for strength to carry on?
Speak to me, I have followed through.
Deliver me from guilt. Take me home
To the source of white light I offer my place.
My sacrifice for its life.
The guilt that stains me vanishes on the other side.
Where is the rain that purifies and retaliates?
Where is the one I begged for strength to carry on?
Walking along the river's flow.
A journey away from original sin.
You and I merge, we become one.
Where is the one I begged for strength to carry on?
Speak to me, I have followed through.
Deliver me from guilt. Take me home
My sacrifice for its life.
The guilt that stains me vanishes on the other side.
Where is the one I begged for strength to carry on?
Walking along the river's flow.
A journey away from original sin.

Seems religious, to me. "original sin," "deliver me from guilt," "the other side," etc. It sounds like it's about dying, and finding out what's on the other side - the "source of white light."
Sounds to me like it's about going through life following a code set by religion and faith and then slowly dying, waiting for what was promised by taking that "journey away from original sin." He's asking where god is to take him to heaven where he feels he deserves to be for "following through." I'm not to interpret whether this song is about coming to the realization that there is no god, and regretting living life the way he was told, just to get deliverance to the 'other side' after death, or not, but I do think it's told from the perspective of somebody that's dying, and is waiting for that deliverance.
