this song is obviously about a break up. her bf broke up w/her, and she isnt over him and missed him soo much. And she is so used to being with him,

....and now she wants to know how long she is going to feel so hurt and alone, because she hates feeling that way.

yeah. it's definitely a break up song.

But it can also be taken as an exclusion song. Maybe her best friend decided she didn't like her anymore.

I know it's not the correct definition, but it's just a different way of seeing it.
