the song name is actually Commuter Man, but anyways:
most of D.R.I.'s lyrics are pretty straight forward. This is about a guy whose life isn't really going anywhere. He spends all his time working. AT the end it sounds like he is going along with the whole American dream of getting a wife and starting a family.
