rest your head (captivated) Lyrics

hey girl no dont try
your name is always in the lights,
but it takes more to shine.

Dont tell me your okay,
I know what he did to you,
dont tell me different,
dont tell me different,
I can read you like a book,
each page a new problem.
only I will take a second look because
I know your worth it.
Like a heart attack in a hospital,
you will be the center of attention.
you will be.

leaves as a bed,
rest your head young child of mine.
the Smell of cologne his cigarettes,
you are alone tonight, tonight these scars wont lie.

This headline never made a difference,
these scars will never make a difference,
this time, all we can do is try.
your alright,your okay.

Leaves as a bed rest your head young child of mine.
the Smell of cologne his cigarettes, you are alone tonight
tonight these scars wont lie

Dont let him tell you,you are worthless
because you mean something to me.
this night has tragic written all across this skyline
and even this side of him would even scare me.
This monster doesnt even know what your worth.

I think this song means that the knows someone that is with a man that beats her, and that he can't do anything about it, and he wants to try to protetc her from him but can't.
