this song contains the most haunting, lonely guitar solo in existence.
utter guitar simplicity. dirty channel, wah, that's it. it's all feeling.
it is a perfect element in a perfect Ween song.
listening with an engineer's ear this song is a joy. all the tiny flaws i can pick out only make it better, like the slight hesitations in the acoustic guitar double tracking.
as for the lyrical content, it barely matters to me, Gener's delivery is gold.
First comment lol Does anyone else think this sounds like 'Mosquito Song' by QOTSA? Deaner was even on that track. What is it with Ween and weasels btw there's one on Freedom of '76 as well as two on GwS. No f'n clue what the lyrics are on about here.
Well, I really have no clue what this song is about, but somehow I like it far above all other ween songs.
By the way: In my studentyears (beginning 1990) in Amsterdam, Ween was performing on many thursdaysnights in a place called Korsakoff. The place was often filled with max 20 people, and they had their taperecorder as drums. QUite silly but good fun. Nice guys, if not sober. ;-)
I think the weasel and stallion themes are farkin epic.
These guys are so underrated. For crying out loud, iTunes notes the genre as comedy FFS. Yes, some of it is funny, but their body of work is so broad now that you can't typecast the band like that.

I agree with billvis that the stallion and weasel themes are awesome, and that ween is under rated.
Anyways i saw a youtube video of them doing this song and befor they start it Gener says This next song is about God. Then someone yells out We don't care about god. and Gener responds Aww I do.
I have serious trouble understanding this song, and I suspect Ween does too. ;-)
But for some reason this IS their best song, as far as I am concerned. :-) This song does something strange, it haunts. Problem is Ween is in general totally funny, so this their out-of-character-song. Ask them for details, for I can only guess.
No idea what this song is about, but I'll be damned if it isn't the most beautiful song about a weasel ever written.
