Start Again Lyrics
i'm...
sure to have you today
in the usual place
where we're locked away
and you won't leave
and you can't be replaced
no one will catch my eye
no, they've been taken away
you hear what i'm saying
i'm saying i can't escape
when you want and you're wanted
and you take and you take
you know you and i
when this song's at its end
will i die in your heart
or will you start it again?
i'm so sad about now
a feeling i just can't shake
i can die satisified
i will take its desire its history
look at your soul in the mud
you think to wait for the day
we would feel so upset
so we won't give it away
you know you and i
when this song's at its end
will i die in your heart
or will you start it again?
know you and i
as we just fade away
will i die in your heart
always just such a shame
such a shame...
sure to have you today
in the usual place
where we're locked away
and you won't leave
and you can't be replaced
no one will catch my eye
no, they've been taken away
i'm saying i can't escape
when you want and you're wanted
and you take and you take
when this song's at its end
will i die in your heart
or will you start it again?
a feeling i just can't shake
i can die satisified
i will take its desire its history
you think to wait for the day
we would feel so upset
so we won't give it away
when this song's at its end
will i die in your heart
or will you start it again?
as we just fade away
will i die in your heart
always just such a shame

(Posted version 1 of lyrics) : Sorry- uncertain about "i'm so sad about now", "its history," and (we would feel so) "upset." Heavy distortion on those makes them hard to decipher.
This was the first Sissy song I really listened to the lyrics to, and it struck me how unusually coherent they are for the genre. It sounds like she's singing about being trapped in a relationship with someone who is emotionally exhausting her. The chorus makes it sound like they keep going through cycles, with the other person restarting their relationship every time it ought to be over. Trite, but well sung.
