I really like this song. I agree. I think he did something really devastating to his g/f and she left him. He is really sorry. But I don't under stand what "waking up with the wolves" means?
Why is there no comments? I lovee this song. I first heard a small sample of it on Fuse on a commercial, and I was like woah, I need to listen to this song/them. And then I looked at some Victory records cd samples I got from Warped Tour this year, and they were on there, and this song. So yeah, I fell in love. Anyways, I think it's about this guy who got dumped by his gf because of something he did, and now she's with someone else but he is sorry and still wants to be with her.

The song is what Chris Grey wrote about while on tour. It's about having that special someone at home, but because he's on tour for so long, & they rarely see each other, he's afraid that she'll stray from him. It's about the paranoia you suffer doing that kind of lifestyle. It's very difficult to keep up a relationship when your out on the road for 10 months out of the year. I know a lot of bands like that who are on the road all the time. I love it! Great song, sad lyrics, & you can make it be about anything you want. It's nice to find out what the artist was thinking, & still come up with your own ideas.

i think he says "Waking up with the wolves" because he is worried that his love is sleeping with people she doesnt know, as in a pack of strangers. (Pack of Wolves?)
"waking up with the wolves" in my opinion means sleeping with the wrong people, not necessarily people she doesnt know but men who are heartless and hungry like the typical big bad wolf. they're definitely not broken up, and I think when he says "forgive me" it's ironic because he's asking forgiveness for being away from her, even though SHE is the one who is supposedly cheating.
