Listening Lyrics
Listening like you did before
Now you're listening no more
See that girl, she's the one I want
To be holding, holding me close
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I've said it all before
So many words, but you just close the door
Did you notice the changes in me
But now it's too late to see
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I hope you understand the feeling of freedom I demand
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
Now you're listening no more
See that girl, she's the one I want
To be holding, holding me close
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
So many words, but you just close the door
Did you notice the changes in me
But now it's too late to see
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I say, you say, weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening

Even though the only hit '80s Australian techno band Psuedo Echo had was a cover of Lipps Inc.'s "Funkytown", the true gem is their '84 debut album, with 3 particular consequetive tracks: "Listening" (the one video I saw from Psuedo Echo), "His Eyes" (a song I 1st. heard during a scene from "Friday the 13th., Pt. 3"), and "His Eyes".
Pseudo's the bomb! and i'm not afraid to admit it!!! i must admit i'm a bit of a pseudo nut... 'Listening' was a major hit, although later on their cover of 'Funkytown' was a MASSIVELY major hit (am i exagerrating??). Personally i love their '84 album, as pharmageek pointed out 'the true gem'. their old stuff was pure and dramatic and totally Romantic...magic, if you appreciate brian's deep voice and the amazing synths...and the drums! don't get me started on them ;)
